General practitioner

GP Ingrid Wijnen completed her basic education at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and her GP training at the AMC in Amsterdam. Prior to GP training, she worked for several years in dermatology in Alkmaar and at a clinic specializing in laser treatments in Leiden. Before and during her GP training, she also worked as a forensic physician for the GG&GD in Amsterdam.

After GP training, Ingrid mainly worked in the Amsterdam region and spent many evenings and nights at various GP out-of-hours services. Before coming to Spain, she also worked in Western Australia for several months. That was a wonderful experience. However, Australia is truly very far away from her family. That is why she eventually settled on the Costa Blanca in 2012.

From 2016 to 2026, she had her own practice in Albir. But starting in June 2026, it was time for a new adventure at the Euro Clínica Rincón. She enjoys being able to collaborate with the various disciplines in this practice and is also very pleased to be able to work under one roof with another GP again, where they will guarantee good patient-centered care.
